What is Interventional Radiology?
These procedures give interventional radiologists the opportunity to treat numerous types of medical conditions that may have previously required surgery. Using imaging techniques to guide them, these minimally-invasive procedures rarely require the use of general anesthesia and most patients experience less pain than traditional surgery.
